HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZACH!

*NOTE* This entry is for journal purposes so feel free to just look at the pictures because it is a long post!

Zach LOVES tigers...and kitties so I made him a tiger cake. He loved it! I was a little worried if I could even do it because there were no directions with the picture I was trying to copy... I did not think it would turn out so I did it 2 days early, but I must say I was extremely shocked that it turned out this good, and with no problems....that NEVER happens with me and I can't do anything good, so I was pleased! (the tounge kept expanding with time)

My little baby is no longer a baby! He is officially 2 years old today. He had a GREAT birthday with his mommy. First we went on an AWESOME fire station tour (I set up the play groups for our ward, so I set it up to be on his birthday :) ) We had a great time and can't wait to do it again. I was so surprised how scared he was of the firemen that got all suited up, but at least he gave him a high five after mommy did. After that we were off to the mall! We had his new favorite food for lunch, pizza (peesa! everytime I say lets eat he says PEEEESAAAA, PEEEESSAAA!) Then we went for a ride on the Carousal and he loved that of course, if I had the money to I would have let him ride it 2 or 3 times, but $2 is kinda pricey for me! After that we ventured to the play place, where he had a blast running around and doing crazy tricks for half an hour...I was going to let him stay as long as he wanted but the poop starting to seep up his back ruined that :/ After an extremely fun morning with mommy we went home to meet Daddy there open presents, sing happy birthday and blow out candles! He loved all of his presents! Then daddy was off to work so we were on our way to see grandma! That is ALWAYS tons of fun and she had the best present ever for him. A basketball hoop. Every time he sees a hoop in someones driveway he goes wild and yells ballll ballllll and is so sad when he doesn't get to play with them. After that we went home, Zach watched Wallie (he was SOO exhausted) while I got ready for mutual, and then to my surprise guess who was still awake when I got home??? That's right Zach, which I really didn't care because I kinda wanted to read books with him on his birthday and spend as much birthday time together as possible, and Ty wanted to keep him up because he only had about 30 minutes with him today, and they are such good buddies. So we cut into his cake finally and I let him pet it and do whatever he wanted to it so he loved it. He wouldn't eat a piece of it, but he did LOVE to poke wholes in it with his finger and lick his finger and say "mmmmmm at's goooood!" (at's +that's). Then he was off to bed...but this time with his new KIKI (stuffed kitty our dear friend Sarah got him, he loves it so much) I wasn't even putting him to bed and he grabbed his kiki, took my hand, took me up stairs, through his kitty in the crib and then wanted in, it was darling. So I put him in and he held his kitty tight to him and fell right to sleep.
I love my Zachary so much. He is such a little miracle and a fighter since minute one! I don't care how far behind he is, or how much taller his friends are, or how much chunkier they are, if they have more teeth, if they talk more, if they are more advanced. He is perfect in every way, and I am so proud of him and how much he has grown. If it weren't for the doctors and nurses that took care of him his first month in life, he wouldn't even be here today and we wouldn't be celebrating his 2 year birthday. I am SO blessed to have such a perfect little miracle in my life and I love him so much. The past 2 years may not have always been a walk in the park, but they were definitely the best 2 years of my life. I love you Zach and although I am a little sad my little baby isn't a baby anymore, I can't wait to go through all these new adventures with you as you get older!
First the Fire Station Tour

Look at his poor face, he did warm up though. Look at my hand holding onto him for dear life, he likes to do that back throw tantrum so I had to be prepared!

Then the Mall!

Ooops meant to take a picture of him playing...instead I got this....his famous poop face :/...so that's when it happened!

Then the Presents and Singing

Then to Grandma and Grandpa's

Then eating, poking, and playing with the kitty cake before bedtime!

This is his blowing face, he thinks he is blowing the unlit candles out again!

That cake looks so cool! I love it. I love seeing how our boys are similar. Don't worry about comparing him to other kids his age. He is perfect!! Its so hard no to do that. (I do it all the time cause Br hardly talks and it just makes me mad, but he will talk when he is ready. I just have to keep telling my self I'm not a bad mom.) I enjoy your pictures!!
