Easter!

We had a great Easter, but will admit it would have been better with daddy! Tyler had to work all Easter weekend, so he didn't get to be with us at all, or enjoy any Easter celebrations. Thankfully my sister only lives an hour away so I packed up the boys (and packed up Grandma :)) and we headed to Sarah's on the Saturday before! We hung out all day! We had an Easter egg hunt, dyed eggs, and had a very yummy Easter dinner made by Sarah and Shane, it was delicious! Plus her super sweet girls held Gavin plenty along with Grandma, so that was very nice :). Thanks to Sarah and her family for letting us come and making our Easter fun even though we couldn't be with Ty.

On Easter the boys woke up to some very cool Sponge bob Easter baskets, that we cheaped out on and just bought so we didn't have to make one (things are a little to hectic right now!) Daddy spoiled them and bought them big chocolate bunnies too, which Connor thought was the actual Easter bunny! hehe I wanted to go to church and hear the special program and hear Zachy sing, but without Tyler, I didn't think it would be a reasonable idea, so instead I sent Zach with our sweet neighbor Zoe and her family! Love them!! It definitely wasn't the best Easter Sunday, in fact it didn't even feel like Easter, although we did get to do one more hunt (in the house) with their other cousins, which they loved because we had over 200 eggs! We really just missed daddy a lot though :/ But their is always next year :)!

3 weeks old. Gavin's first Easter :)
(I wasn't able to get family pics or even pics of all the boys in their cute Easter outfits so hopefully this next Sunday.)

Valentines Love!

My awesome friend Rebecca watched the kids for us the week before V-day so Tyler and I could go out! It was awesome! I had Tyler get a pedicure with me, I really wanted him to feel the pure amazingness of a pedicure, and did he ever, hot stones and all! It was so fun, he felt totally awkward and weird, but he didn't complain afterwards :). After that we used our Christmas gift card to Cheesecake factory and went and had a great lunch with of course some real yummy cheesecake! It was such a nice peaceful time together. We really enjoyed our V-day celebration, and I love him bunches!

As for actual V-day, Ty had to work so it was just me and my precious babes. They woke up to some fun candies, Plato, markers, and couple other fun toys from the $1 section that kept them well entertained the whole day! Then later we had Zoe (Zach's favorite little friend, that lives down the street) over while her parents when out to eat! Zach and Zoe are oh so cute together and love spending time together. They never fight and never bother me for anything. They stay in his room playing with toys non-stop, it is so cute to secretly listen to them. They are also very nice to Connor and let him play with them too. Later we turned on a movie (Nemo, Zoe's choice!) and they all cuddled in their jammies in my bed watching until her parents came later that night! It was a great, fantasticle day!

Christmas and New Year!

Christmas was nothing less of amazing this year. It was absolutely wonderful, although we do wish we could have seen more of my family! We started off our celebrations on Friday the 23rd with Ty's family. Everyone was in town, and it was our year to spend Christmas day with my family so this worked out great! We started the evening with a nice night out at the Cheesecake Factory with his whole family. Then we met back at his parents house, where the kids got to decorate gingerbread (graham cracker) houses with an abundance of candy that Tyler and I had made earlier that day. As the little ones did that the adults had a white elephant gift exchange and then a nice gift exchange. It was a BLAST. I think it is safe to say it was a very fun and entertaining night everyone, including the little ones-who spent most the night decorating and eating candy :) Doesn't get better than that!
This is what I got for my white elephant gift, not bad!

Sweet Connor went straight to bed after the restaurant that night, so when he got up the next morning he got to do this :)

Our awesome neighbors dress up and stay outside all day every year on Christmas Eve! It is awesome!
They loved seeing him again!
On Christmas Eve we went to G-mom and Pops! I think we went about 4! We enjoyed our traditional pizza and lots of other goodies and desserts sweet G-mom had prepared for all of us! It was a relaxing night without any set schedule! Mom, Andrew (dad had to work) and Sarah and her family all got to be together that evening! It was a very fun, relaxing night that ALWAYS brings back memories of the past 20 years of my life of going over there for Christmas Eve, a tradition I will always cherish!
We love our Pop SOO much!

It was all so yummy!

Cousins having fun together!

Isn't he the cutest!

Grandma and her phone are always a huge hit!

G and P opening their gift from Ty and I, and Sam and Lacey. An automatic candy dispenser!
I think they loved it!

Poor Connor ended up having a virus of some sort that night. He had a fever and passed right out.
Ty had to run out and get him some medicine because he was burning up.
Christmas eve night I ended up getting a stomach bug. I was up most of the night throwing up! It was pretty miserable, but by the morning I felt good so it worked out! The boys woke at their normal time between 630 and 7. We woke uncle Andrew and Grandma and Grandpa, and then went to go to see what Santa had brought us! This was by far the best Christmas yet.  Connor was so excited with this new toy that was already unwrapped he didn't even notice the pile behind it :)

Zach was so thrilled and over whelmed! He was very very grateful for all his amazing gifts!

Connor pretty much spent the whole day opening gifts, he was so slow! Took his time with each one, then played with them before opening the next!
This is Zach being excited for Connor and whatever he just opened. It was sweet!

Zach was always sad on Sundays saying he was the only one without scriptures. So grandma got these for him!
They even have his name on them! It was so cute, and he remembers every Sunday to bring them!

Zach's awesome pile!

Santa's leftover cookies and a sweet letter!

Playing after church on Christmas!

Sarah and the family came for church and stayed for Christmas dinner! Zach loves his cousins!
Around 4:00 that day we decided to head home and go have another Christmas celebration with Tyler's parents! It was so fun, and the boys couldn't even believe they had more gifts to open! It really was a whole day of opening gifts it felt like! It was such a wonderful day, and it was so great that it was on the Sabbath so we could enjoy an wonderful Sacrament meeting! We played with news games and toys the rest of the night, then went to bed! We really are so blessed to be surrounded by family! We can't wait for next year, expecially since we will have a new addition to celebrate it with!

We had a great New Years Eve! This year we spent it with our friends the Holdstocks! We played games while the kids played with toys! WE enjoyed lots of yummy food and great company. Unfortunately we didn't stay the whole time! We usually aren't party poopers but we had been out playing all day long, so we were all really tired, and since church was the next day we decided to call it a night around 11! It was a great night though!

Santa Baby...

I think this was before church! He is saying "ho ho ho!"

We took the boys to Cabala's to get their picture with Santa! We were so excited that he was their! They were first in line, it doesn't cost, they give you a picture for each child for free, PLUS you can use your own camera! Best deal ever! Connor and Zach very much love Santa! Zach is a little too smart though and already wonders why his beard isn't longer like other ones! Connor, wow-I think this made his year. He was SOO excited. He thinks Santa is the greatest in the whole world and didn't want to get off his lap. The look on his face and thrill in his voice was SO priceless. It really was very cute. Zach understands the reason and/or meaning per say for Santa, of course Connor is to young, but I'm pretty sure he thinks he hung the moon :).

And the Final night...

This was actual Halloween night. I like trunk or treat, but nothing beats going door to door for me. I think that is the most fun part for some reason! The boys thought it was pretty awesome too, and they got to do it with their super cute cousins Adelyn and Layla. We just went up and down the street. This was a new concept for Connor, on the first couple houses he just ran right in the house as soon as the door opened. So funny. It was a very fun and good night!
dude, he is FIERCE!

My two hero's of the night :)

dang they are cute!

Seriously, this will go down in history as the best costume EVER.

He liked being Captain America, he referred to himself as "mista amewican"

He actual requested his costume be home made! That's my boy!

Zach and his Mimi!!! haha CLASSIC

Goodbye until next year, Halloween. As of right now Zach says he wants to be Puss 'n Boots! haha
