My last preggers picture, this was about a week before, since I was by myself when I went to the hospital, I didn't get to get one more, oh well.
(The picture kinda looks weird, I cropped it, but I didn't stretch it even though it looks like it.)
*Long and Detailed for journaling purposes*

On Tuesday the 4Th I went in for a regular check up and they monitored the baby's heart rate for about 15 minutes (he started doing this every week because the baby didn't have much movement) Well, baby's heart rates are suppose to be between 120 and 160 and his was between there but after having 3 contractions it dropped all the way down into the 60's for more than 5 minutes. I was in the room by myself and knew it wasn't good, but as long as I heard the heart beat I kept my cool. The doctor finally came in and looked at the recording and said "eww that's ugly, I don't like the look of that" but told me it probably isn't anything to worry about, and it could be different things, such as the baby holding onto the umbilical cord until he passed out (baby's sometimes do this), so he sent me home and just told me to pay extra attention to the movement. That really had me scared, because he just really did not move hardly at all. Well, I payed close attention and also called Ty's Cousin who is an OBGYN and told her, she was worried and told me to go back in, but I never want to be the annoying patient that worries over nothing, so I waited a couple more days before I did anything. So come Thursday I had hardly felt the baby move at all, and Laura really wanted me to go in, but I decided to wait till Friday morning and see how he was, then I would call. Come Friday morning he wasn't moving (I knew he was ok though because I have a fetal heart monitor, and I could hear his heart beat) so I called the doctor and went in to get him monitored immediately (mainly because I told Laura I would, and I knew she was really worried) and thank goodness for my dad who met me up there to take Zach, when I was laying all strapped up on the bed I had to bribe Zach with gum so he wouldn't get into the drawers before my dad got there! haha Anyway- His heart was only staying around 110 and got lower every time I contracted so the doctor came in and said, "Ok we are having this baby now!" It was like 12:30 or something, during their lunch time, and right in the middle of the day, so I figured he would just want me to get all hooked up and ready and then we would do it when he is done with work. Nope, I was so wrong. I went straight to the hospital, and bam bam bam..I had 3 nurses working on me, doing paper work, iv, and all the good stuff, so finally I asked, "so when do you think we are doing this" and the nurse said "the doctor is on his way so as soon as he gets here!" I was like oh crud, so I called Tyler and told him to hurry, and he barely made it, it all went so quick, but he did thank goodness. The surgery (c-section) went perfectly and my little angel Connor was born! Everything went perfect. Truthfully, Laura is the whole reason I went in at all, and had I not, I don't know what the outcome would have been, so I am so thankful for Laura pushing and pushing me to go back in and being so worried and concerned for us, because with my stubbornness I wouldn't have gone in just because my doctor, family, and friends told me to if the movement was low (I know I am pathetic). We truly owe everything to Laura, and can't thank her enough.

Now for a update on Connor. He is so easy, although anything compared to Zach is probably easy! I love him SOOOO SOOO MUCH!! I can not believe the difference between him and Zach as a baby, I knew preemies were harder than full term babies, but now looking back, I don't even know how I did it, this is a breeze compared to all that. He sleeps all the time, is the best nurser ever, only cries when I change his diaper or bathe him, and just lets out a real high pitch scream when it is time to eat, which scares Tyler and I to death every time in the middle of the night! He usually has 2 -4 hour stretches of sleep sometimes 5 hours (I know you are suppose to wake them when they are this young, but I am not doing that, I made that mistake with Zach :0) Nights aren't bad at all (with the exception of like 3 bad nights total, which is nothing to me, considering Zach was up every hour as a baby!) and I don't find myself extremely tired in the day! He is growing really good and is already up to 6lbs 9oz-and everything looked perfect at his 2 week appt-Go Connor!
Zach is doing awesome. He loves, LOVES Connor. He likes to say "I hold him" and then after like 30 seconds he'll say " he to b-e-eg, oww he tooo b-e-e-g mama!" B-e-eg=big. He loves to rub his head and say "awwwww baby nice" or "awww baby cute" He loves to kiss his head, and is extremely gentle. He never hugs him hard, or rubs him to hard or tries to poke his eyes or anything, he is so so gentle, it is so cute. The only thing he needs to be more careful about is when he tries to share his dinosaurs with him, but we are working on that ; ) Zach doesn't care when I am holding Connor or nursing him, so far absolutely no jealousy, which I didn't really think he would be, because he loves baby's and because he is pretty independent, although going through a really whining stage, which we are hating!
So, all in all, things are going pretty good. Our only real obstacles are with Zach and getting him through the terrible 2 phase, teaching him to share better, not whine, not say "MINE" all the time and obey a lot better, but time outs seem to be really helping a lot more now, but we still love him so much and all of his hilarious stories he is ALWAYS telling us and acting out! He is still very animated and very funny.
I'm recovering well myself but really wish I was already completely recovered. A c-section the 2ND time around is much much better than the first, but it still kills to lift things and bend down and stuff, but it is worth it!

Holy Cow he's cute! I'm glad he's a good baby. Sienna was a WAY worse baby than Kaia. But for some reason, the 2nd time around is always easier and less tiring. Let us know when you are fully recovered and we will make a little trip up to see you guys.
I like the part about Zach! I read it aloud to Matt... Can't wait to meet little Connor one day!
Good job getting it all written down! I'm so glad you are doing so well. Your boys are so dang cute!
I know just how you feel! I never want to call my doctor especially after hours! But when I woke up at 3 am ans was heavily bleeding my mom made me call and they NEVER called me back. So, she made me go to the hospital and I had him that day:) I am so glad Conner made safely and he;s so darn cute! My baby is already 10 weeks today! It flies by. Miss ya'll!
Congrats!!! He's beautiful! And I'm so glad that he's being such a good baby for you...makes a world of difference. :) Can't wait to see him in person!
