FLU

Can I just say yuck? I have been taking care of my sick husband all week, who had the flu, and now Zach and I have it. I don't think I have had it in years, and it is horrible. He is beat red all the time. Nothing is getting his fever all the way down, it maintains at about 101sh, which is better than 104, but he is soo miserable. It is almost nice having what he has because this time I know EXACTLY what he is going through and where it hurts and what hurts, instead of playing the guessing game. I have been up since 4am this morning, and got about 20 minutes of nap time, he hasn't let me put him down all day, and screams when I HAVE to put him down, like going to the bathroom. Which kills be because I know it is hurting his throat so bad. We have 5 different kinds of ice cream bars and Popsicles, and 4 different kinds of ice cream in the fridge right now. But Zach doesn't like ANY of them. He's never liked ice cream, yogurt, pudding, etc. but I thought now that he is sick he would eat some, but nope! He is drinking a good amount of water so that is good.

He has been breaking my heart all day with his cute little pathetic self. Earlier he crawled into my lap kissed me then said "bye, bye" and passed out on my shoulder instantly. He has been giving me little kisses all day long out of no where, it is so sweet. For some reason when he is sick he hums and sings and does "la la la" alot, I think it soothes him, but it is so cute but makes me so sad bc his little voice is so sickly. His skin is just so burning fire hot, and he has only gotten the chills a few times.

This is going to be a long night, but hopefully Ty can help with him now that he is feeling much better.

Wash your hands! You do not want this flu!!
