Our Little Roly Poly

Well Zach is doing great!! This week he has gotten a little better at sucking on his bottle, yesterday and today we got him to take 10 cc's...which is amazing for him! Also.....he may be a preemie....but he is a quick learner for some things.....to mine, tylers, and all the nurses astonishment, little tiny zach rolled over this week! Hehe, how funny is that? Yep, they layed him on his stomach to air out his bum because he has had a bad case of diarreah (sorry, this is problem more than you want to know) and next thing they knew he had rolled back over onto his back! This was just yesterday (friday), then last night he went from laying on his left side, to completely turning over to his right side. Aww how cute, but sad that I miss all these little mile stones! Oh well! Also he has gained weight this week! He is now up to 3lbs 11ozs! We are so proud of him! Lets see what else? Oh yeah, one not so good thing...he keeps having bradies (sp) episodes, which means his heart rate is dropping reallly low, but he has self recovery so that is positive. He's kinda been having a lot lately though, and they said he has to go 5 whole days without having one before he can go home, so if they say he can come over on like thursday...if he has one before then...it will add 5 days on : (...so hopefully he will stop having them. On a good note, he is a REALLY good baby, from what the nurses tell me. He never cries really, even when he is hungry, he is a very good, happy baby they say, and in the last 2 weeks I have only heard him full out cry twice that I can think of! I am doing pretty good myself, just still building up strength, but doing good! Anyway, that's all the news I can think of for now! I'll keep you guys updated though. Also, a special thanks to Sarah, my mom & dad, who have spent countless hours with me for the past 4 weeks! And have been there with me through all of this, helping me physically and emotionally, and missing work for me...and driving back and forth from Fortworth numerous times! This would have been MUCH harder without them. Thanks guys : ) Love you!

Enjoy the Pics!
PS. how do you spell roly poly? rollie pollie? you get the idea!

How cute!! I never reliazed how small he was until I saw the picture of him in the palm of the hands. I'm glad you are feeling better and that little Zach is improving.

We love the wonderful pictures even though we get to see him. I miss him and need to come see him again today or tomorrow.

Being with you Bec is always like being with a ray a sunshine!!

Don't be surprised if the day Zach is suppose to going home that they tell you he had an episode and has to stay 5 more days. They may just want to keep him and you close by for the joy you bring to all of the. Of course, Tyler, you are just a bigger version of Becca's ray!! We love you both and are grateful you include us in your lives!!

He's such a cutie! It sounds like everyone is doing well. We'll pray for an end to his "episodes" so that you can start enjoying him at home.

He's so adorable! He looks super tiny in some of those pictures. I can't believe he rolled over - he must be a very determined little guy. Hope he continues to do better and can come home soon!

Hey Guys, congrats on the new addition. That is crazy that he already rolled over. I love that you guys named his Zach and with an H. But I cant help to laugh because your dad never called me zach with a k sound but with a ch sound. I dont know if that makes sense, but hopefully Bro. Mac understands that the shorting of Zachary is Zach and not Zack and that it is still pronounced with a k at the end. HAHA. I love that about your dad. Take care guys!!!
