Hopefully Becca won't mind me updating for her... :)
The baby is doing great. They took him off the c-pap (oxygen-breathing stuff) yesterday and he has been doing great breathing on his own. No problems at all... and actually doing better than when he had the c-pap. It's the big thing on his nose, so apparently he looks so much better and so cute. Becca and Tyler also got to hold him for the first time yesterday--for about an hour! So exciting. He is doing well.
Unfortunately, Becca's blood pressure is still a little high. They took her off all her meds yesterday and moved her to a recovery room... and this morning they moved her back and are hooking her up again. Hopefully, it is just the preeclampsia lingering in her little body and this will flush it out and she will be okay. At least she's not going home without her baby just yet. (Although being on the magnesium sulfate is awful). She is recovering well from the c-section though. She has been walking a bit and is not in too much pain.
Anyway, I know there are a lot of prayers being said for these two and we all really appreciate it. We will keep you updated and hopefully Becca will be able to post some new pictures soon!

Thanks for the update Sarah. I've been checking for one, although I was sure we wouldn't have one for a while. I am glad to hear he is doing so well, and that Becca is recovering well from her c-section. I know recovering that can be hard, and I hope that her blood pressure is able to stabilize quickly. They are all in our prayers.
I just have to say that I am so impressed by the family of love that goes beyond blood. So many have reached out to Bec and Tyler. It is awesome to see that friendships made in the youth of our children as well as those that may have came later are able to lend so much love and support to each other.
What a positive use of computers, internet and BLOGS!!
(if this doesn't make since, just know that I have had about 4 hours of sleep in the last 2 weeks...okay maybe more...but lets blame it on that anyways)
We love you Bec and Tyler...Zach is beautiful....He really is!!!
Sarah I'm so glad you updated this. I have been looking at it every day, a million times a day (as do I look at the other blogs.) Becca I'm so glad you guys got to hold little Zach! That is great! I hope he continues to do well! And that you start to feel better. It takes time, but I bet holding your little baby made it all worth it! Love you guys!

Thanks for updating Sarah! I kept checking it too for updates even though I really wasn't expecting one. That is so great that little Zach is doing well. Becca- I hope you continue to recover and are able to get that blood pressure down. I'm sure it was so wonderful to hold your little angel in your arms. He looks like such a sweetheart! Keep getting well both of you!
Good to hear! We've definitely been thinking a lot about them. We'll keep praying for Becca's quick recovery and for little Zach to be healthy and strong so he can come home soon!
