East Texas Gators!

(This was around Febuary 2012)

We had been in the house for way to long, and I really needed to get out and do something fun, so we did! The boys and I went on an adventure together, and it was tons of fun-although we did miss daddy!

I found this place near Canton, called East Texas Gators! Out in the middle of nowhere! Literally, the directions go to a certain point and then you just have to figure out the rest, which by accident I did! It is in the middle of a forest, so even if I did get lost GPS and cell phone signals didn't even work out there-thankfully it all worked out perfectly!

We drove up and there was only one other car their, I kind of started getting nervous it was closed (and mind you it is an hour and half away) So we walked in and they said they were open, and we had to whole place to ourself the whole time : ) The boys were in heaven, well Zach, Con was a little scared at times. They got to touch snakes and gators and even hold a couple random small animals! They had a bounce house, and an awesome petting farm with tame deer! I believe there were over 40 gators but being that it wasn't summer and it was a bit chilly, most of them didn't come out, we saw at least 10 though! The biggest one they had was over 14ft long, crazy.

They were the nicest people that owned the place, and we got to walk around and do whatever we want, how ever many times we wanted considering we were the only people their. It was a great get-a-way for me and the boys. We all had a blast and can not wait to go back in the summer with daddy when all the gators are all out!

Trip to Arkansas!

At a nearby hotel the have a "duck march" from the elevator to their "pond" every morning. Pretty darn funny.
We went and saw Sam and Lacey and their new house this week in Arkansas! We had an awesome time! Little Rock is such a beautiful place with SOO much to do! Sam had to work during the day, but that did not stop us! We can't wait to go go and see those cute little boys and go on some more hikes! Of course I had a ton of pics so I tried to pick the best but it was so hard.

Elevators we had to ride on a couple of times after we saw the ducks.

"Duck Master"

This was at an AWESOME park we went to, it was half underground, with tunnels and all.
It was a wee bit dangerous for Connor (it had rock climbing walls and cliffs and such) but it was the best for
Zach and his cousins!

On our way back from the to park to our car, we parked pretty far away, but it was a fun walk.

Handsome hubs

My boys!
On one of the last days we went to a nearby mountain and went for a hike, it was SO much fun and Riley and Zach loved it! We want to do it again for sure!
Connor needing to be independent

Tyler was a champ climbing the whole thing with Connor

These boys were amazing, they were meant for hiking/climbing, for sure!

And here we go! We made it to the top, it was a mile  long!

Yeah, it was time to go, it was getting dark and we had to get down fast! It was dark that last 5 minutes or so
and we even saw a  baby fox!

Arbuckle, here we come!

We went to Arbuckle Wildlife, and it was nothing short of amazing, total chaos and tons of fun! Popeye had a day off so he got to join in on the fun! The animals were relentless and were super hungry. Hardly any other cars were there so it was well worth the price. Something we will def. do again!

umm ouch..

yes, Popeye was as scared as his face looks...hehe

Their tongues are crazy long.

And this is my favorite picture, those Ostrich's were CRAZY. They would take off your ear if
you weren't watching. Right after I snapped this, he went in for the kill, and just barely missed, haha poor Zach.

Utah Wedding & Texas Reception

Matthew and Jaime had a Beautiful wedding and we are so glad we got to go up to Utah and be with them! I am to to lazy to edit the pics and they are not in the right order at all but I wanted to post them, and I am to tired to tell about the trip or put captions on the pics, but maybe another day. So I am just going to let the pictures tell their own stories!

(ok one caption, this is Zach watching the Airplanes...the air plane stories are not good, it was a toughy!)
