I should have went in.

Zach used to be a wonderful sleeper until he got sick and then sick again and sick again and now we are doomed. So he always wakes up through out the night screaming with nightmares. Finally we just started turning off the monitor. Well last night, oh poor boy, he was screaming-and we turned off the monitor. We should not have turned it off. I walked in his room this morning to find a disgusting stench filling the room only to glance down and see what looked like a big bowl of melted chocolate spilled on his bed...but that indeed was not what it was. Can you take a guess? That's right diarrhea. ALL OVER. I have his big boy bed and the crib in there. He apparently slept in both beds last night. It was all over his body, from head to toe. No telling when it had happened. My dear Zach, I am so sorry. Turns out he has that nasty stomach bug going around..shortly after his long bath..I went to feed Connor only to look up and see a terrified face with throw up slowly dripping down his bright red lips. Poor fellow.

Oh, yuck, I'm so sorry. We just had a stomach bug earlier this week. Only 2 of us had diherra (sp?). None of us had fevers and our throw up was bright yellow. Is his yellow? I'm so sorry. Travis and I were wiped out for 24 hours but the kids have taken much longer to bounce back.

Man i feel you. Some times you just have to turn off the monitor. But when I do that i lay awake wondering if they are ok so i end up getting up anyway.

I can sooooooo relate. When Spencer was still in his toddler bed and being a stinker about getting up in the middle of the night frequently, we ignored him one night too. The next morning we found him covered in dried puke. I had never felt like such a horrible mother! Poor kid.
