Connor is doing much better from Saturday and Sunday. He is still not doing great at all, very miserable and still has a good amount of fluid in his lungs. Now that I see him "better" I realize how bad he was on Saturday and Sunday, and holy cow-he was bad. So far it is looking like he has viral phneumonia, which means antibiotics won't help. Today they are trying to see how he does without oxygen-and they just took him off fluids (although I am wondering if that is a mistake because the doctor told me they were going to lower the fluids-not take him completely off-so I guess we will see how that goes) He has started eating again-not much-but some. He has to be off of oxygen and fever free for 24 hours- his last fever was last night and they just took him off oxygen. From the way the doctor was talking it didn't sound like she had any plans of sending him home anytime soon-which is hard and sad, but at the same time I don't want to take home a sick baby. Every 4 hours a respiratory therapist comes in, gives him breathing treatments, pounds on his chest and back, and salines and suctions his nose and mouth-and he HATES it all. Sometimes he likes the pounding. Last night he was so tired he slept through it-and they pound HARD. He still looks very sickly and very swollen and pale. He is exremely uncomfortable and always crying like he is in constant pain. Yesterday for the first time we got a few smiles out of him, it was great. Well I guess that is all the update for now. Thanks for all the prayers!

Oh, I'm so sorry. It sounds so completely miserable. He continue to be in my prayers. How old is he now? How's the rest of the family feeling?
Oh my gosh, that is horrible! I had no idea it was that bad. Please know we're thinking of you and sending our positive "healthy" vibes! xoxo
