Was it Zach? No.
Was it Tyler? No.
Then who?
That's right, yours truly. I CONFESS! I did it. And other than my white bed spread and nursing wrap there WAS a victim. A very sad, young innocent victim. Connor.
I was yet only trying to do what was right. What any good mother would do. I was giving my sweet little angel a little Mylicon. Why you ask? WHY?? Well, because he was in a bad fight with some mean bubbles that were upsetting his little hard bulging tummy. I was trying to help I tell ya! I gave the little man just the right amount to win the battle with the bubbles! He tasted and swallowed, and then let out a little screeching yelp, how dare those bubbles! So of course being the good mother I was trying to be I reached for the passy so he could withstand the pain until he won that fight, what a mistake. Who knew?? WHO KNEW? Who knew that that was going to lead to the unthinkable, not me, I am ashamed! Ok, here goes. As I ever so quickly reached for that sweet little passy, that could do no harm, and only help the fighting little man- I, I spilled, yes that's right-I'll just say it. I spilled the mylicon---all over....HIS FACE! NO NO, how could this be? His eyes were wide open before this - so I knew it had to have gotten into those little eyeballs! Heck, it was just a big pink face--if I didn't know better I would think he didn't even have eyes, it was caked on. What to do? WHAT TO DO? Think back in science class...ok yes always flush eyes out with water when a chemical gets in them. BUT HE'S A BABY! think Becca think! Forget it! Just run him downstairs to the nurse (his grandma is a nurse :)) I ran...and there were no yells-he had to have been in like "what the heck" shock. He was quiet, calm, and collective...just flailing his arms about. So sad. She quickly wet down paper towels and wiped him clean. Took the poor guy a couple minutes to open his eyes again, but he did, and still no cries. I thought it would have burned, but I guess not. I think his eyes are little swollen now, but at least his little baby self wasn't in pain, just a little confused as to why his mom wanted him to see the world in pink vision. Sorry buddy. I hope you all can learn from my mistake...cap on-then get passy-cap on-then get passy.
