So we made a horrible mistake and let Zach watch Dark Night with us...and then he decided he wanted to be Joker. What the heck?? He thought it was just soo great.
Ok not really, apparently little Zach isn't so little...he can completely reach on top of the countertops and get whatever his little heart desires, which that day was scissors, that were put up there so HE wouldn't get them. Now honestly, he has been able to do this for sometime now, but usually just things that were partially hanging off the edge or really close to the edge...which the scissors were not. Anway, Tyler and I both found him with them open on him MOUTH...we ran to him...but it was one of those things you are in shock for a minute and are afraid if you run he will hurt himself more ya know? And then BAM, he closes them...on his MOUTH! After the initial "holy heck he just sliced his face with scissors" I grabbed him and held him bc I new the screaming was coming, and it did, then I looked at his face to see the damage and the first thing I said was "oh no, my baby looks like joker!" It turned out not to be deep at all, and healed really quick!

OH my goodness! Its amazing how one day they cant reach something and then all the sudden they reach everything! I feel for you!

Oh man...crazy. I'm glad he's doing better. ANd I'm so glad you weren't serious about letting him watch Dark Knight with you. Ha ha. You got me for a minute there.
no way!! how scary... I hate those moments where you just don't have enough time to get there. I'm so glad he won't have a scar there forever!!
