PA-THE-TIC!

Well I can not believe my neglection of posting about Zach's 15 month appointment and the fact that he WALKS! I thought I posted about it, but apparently the last thing I said was that he had taken 5 steps! So he started full on walking June 16th, the day before his appointment...the only thing was that #1 he still couldn't get to standing without the help of a friendly wall or couch and #2 he wanted to skip learning how to walk and go straight to running...and he did basically that! Now of coarse he gets up on his own and has great balance and still pretty much just runs everywhere. I enjoy that he can walk because I do think he is a little happier now, and his poor knees don't get so scraped up! YEAH! On the other hand just in the past couple of weeks he has had a growth spurt of a couple of inches and can now reach on bathroom counter tops and get whatever he wants..I found my toothbrush out side on the patio :) And he now hits his head on everything because he is not use to this new height! But he is getting the hang of it! Well, here are his 15 month stats and some new things he is doing and some new words he is saying!

Height: 30"-12%
Weight: 18lbs 7 oz (that is OVER 6 times his birth weight...yeah Zach!) 0%
Head: 5% (I don't know what it measures though, they don't ever right that part down?)

I thought I would put the percentages this time just for fun..but they don't really matter because it is not using the the preemie scale...but hey at least they are not all 0 right?

His Favorite Words:
Daddy & Mommy-very clearly...although sometimes I think he calls every woman mommy when he wants something..hehe.
Bish and ishy-we have a fish tank and he figured out how to say "ish" or "ishy" or sometimes with a b...he too calls birdies ishies!

(he knows the difference of both words and what they mean and it really does make a world of a difference and I have been able to figure out what he wants a lot easier, I think it makes him feel like such a big boy when he feels like he is communicating with us)

Other Stuff:
Pic-A-Boo...he will put his blanky over his whole head until we say where is zachy?
Still loves being chased...and I mean LOVES it..
He cracks up anytime someone says ewwwww, like if something is gross he thinks it is halarious!
Still loves to play ball (and we can't figure out if he is a lefty or righty because he throws it evenly good!)
And ultimately playing outside and playing in the dirt! But what boy doesn't?
He still isn't much of a toy player...in less of coarse we are at someone elses house..he loves everybody elses toys.

He still is a wonderful little sleeper...my next goal for him (and yes I am a little late..but I have to do it step by step) Is getting him off the bottle. I just feel like it soothes him so much before naps and bed time...but I know it is time to switch..he does use sippy cups and water bottles all day long for his water...he just isn't used to the milk squirting out that fast I think.

Anyway, it is getting late and my brain is going dead...I'm sure I am leaving out a ton...but that is the important stuff I would say! So please forgive my neglection of updating on you Zach...pathetic I know!
