1. WE MOVED! We got the house I REALLY wanted..but then decided it wasn't the right time..and turned it down. So we moved into some wonderful apartments that are beautiful and pretty spacious for an apt. So I love it! Plus the amenities are amazing!
2. BURNT! Our first day in the apartments I almost caught the whole place on fire! BUT it was not our fault. I was washing some sheets and pillow cases and I (thankfully) checked on them before they were done and BAM they had burn spots allll over them and it stunk! So the apartment people came over and found the problem..the hose was all messed up..and had I left it in there it would have caught on fire, LOVELY. So then they fixed it and left me with these words of encouragement "I would just put some crappy clothes in there first to make sure it doesn't burn anything" Awesome.
3.FIRE! ants...thats right one day I had noticed one ant in Zach's room and killed it and went on with my day. Then another day I was changing Zach's diaper and he starts screaming bloody murder. That's right friends and neighbors another stinkin' little ant...crawling away after he had stung Zach 3 times on the chest. Poor feller...I killed it..looked for more...found nothing went on with the day. THEN, oh yeah it gets worse, I lay him in his crib for a little nappy poo...when he starts screaming....so I pick him back up...move the blankies..and there lies the fire ant kingdom in his crib! What a bummer. Thankfully pest control is complimentary.. and they were there within 5 minutes...Then so kindly the man told me "yeah, there are huge fire ant piles outside his window, I've been spraying them for weeks...I guess they found a way in!" splendid! Well, Zach had to sleep in our room for the next few nights..but I haven't seen any more..so now I am just waiting for them to come back in the middle of the night and eat him alive...don't worry though, when he screams I will come to the rescue! So a total of 6 bites and almost a burnt down apartment! But really...we do love them :)
4. NO PICTURES! We still don't have internet so no pictures until we do!
5. EASTER! Zach had a great Easter! He even figured out how to put the eggs in the basket when he found them! I was impressed!
6. FEVER BOY! That is what I am going to call Zach I decided. This kid has more fevers than anyone I have ever known. They told me preemies are more prone to getting sick...but my golly. It seems like every other week it is shooting up to 104! So this is to you Zach...I am not made of money..please stop getting sick. PS. you are happier when you are not sick. Thanks, love mommy
7. FOR SALE! Does anyone want a very nice iron coffee table with a glass top? It is very nice, perfect condition, just not so good with youngsters, so we are selling ours. Let me know, I'll send ya a picture!
8. SWIM SUITS. Why are they so expensive? Or am I just that poor that I think they are really expensive? I haven't bought a new one in probably about 5 years....and I need one BAD. But even when I pick one out...once I get to the register I put it back...I just don't have it in me to spend $30-60 on a swim suit!
9. CRAZY. Zach likes to repeatedly hit his head on things...on PURPOSE. Until he hits it really hard one time and then cries. What is that about? And he'll do it with our heads too..like head butts us. Yep that is my child! Gotta love him!
10. AMERICAN IDOL. Who do you love? I think David A. is my favorite. I do like Brooke as well, David Cook is good, but he kinda bugs me? I don't know why. Siesha is good but same ol' same 'ol, ya know? Karly is usually really really good I must admit, but seriously I hate all of her clothes Simon is right...they dress her horribly! And what's her name? Curly hair girl..sings country...I just don't really like her...sorry sweetie but I don't...but I will admit that sometimes she sounds good! Oh and Australian dude or whatever he is....yeah I do like him a lot too I think he has done a really great job. So I guess I would put them in this order 1. David A. (something different than the usual) 2. Brooke 3. Australian

I think I agree with the top 3 for American Idol. You forgot to mention Jason. I don't really like Carly for some reason.. and yeah, David C. is good, but there is something I don't like about him.
Poor little Zachy. I hate fire ant bites. I'm glad you didn't burn your apartment down the first week there. And if it makes you feel any better, Kathryn and Hannah occasionally enjoy banging their heads on the wall repeatedly.
Holy moly! You guys have been busy since Zach's b-day! Congrats on the new place! You'll have to let us know where you're at! Hope those darn ants get taken care of. We had ants in our first apartment too. No fun! This is the first year that I have actually picked up the phone to vote for American Idol. I went to elementary & junior high with Brooke so I am bias! ;) Hope all is well! We need to get together soon!
The head banging thing...yeah ALL BOY! For some reason they love doing it and of course they get a reaction out of mom and dad! I was just thinking the same thing about swimsuits the other day. There's obviously not that much fabric to explain the prices! Happy Shopping! Hope Zach loses the fever for a while.
