What in the world is going around! Zach finally got better from being sick after Christmas..and then BAM...he gets sick again! Last week his fever got up to 104.7! He was so sick and I could tell he was soo miserable...it just broke my heart. He could hardly breath, he wouldn't sleep at night, he kept getting the chills and his whole body would shiver including his lil lip that was truely purple, and he was so lathargic..it was sad. We don't have health insurance for him still so I kept hesitating taking him to the doc. hoping it would just pass...and with a blessing, it did...or for a couple days anyway. Just last night his fever came back, his nose completely stopped up again and of coarse no sleeping at night again. He has actually been happy this morning (thank goodness) but his nose has nasty crusties like crazy!
This boy loves to sit in boxes! (and drink his juice of coarse)
Tyler got a gift certificate to Al Biernat's Down in Dallas. So we went there last weekend. All I can say is WOW. I have never been to a resturant that is so upperclass. I felt like I should have been in a dress...and should have been wearing my biggest pearls or diamonds. It was crazy, they even put our napkins in our laps for us. You had to get Vallet parking (so of coarse we parked somewhere else and walked) and all the cars were porches and jags and other pretty sweet lookin rides. Just as soon as you walk in you totally feel OF the world. It was a fun experience (and so stinkin expensive), but we will never go there again, in less we were given another gift card...although you do feel kinda stupid handing them a gift card... and they probably did think we were cheapos..haha oh well.

I'm sorry about his naps. If you it makes you feel any better, the little preemie in our ward is the EXACT same way with naps, really. I hope you can figure out something.
And i'm sorry he's sick again :(
oh that does make me feel better...maybe it is a preemie thing...
I'm sure it doesn't help that he's not feeling well...sorry! My suggestions are to make sure his room is DARK. I don't know if you have a black-out shade or even a blanket over the window works. I also use white-noise to help drown out Ben's playing so Matt can nap better. I just turn on the radio to static and some people use box fans. Maybe it is just a preemie thing, who knows. You might also try going through a shortened version of your night-time routine to cue his brain that it's time for sleep. I hope it gets better because I know it can be so frustrating! Good luck!
Thank1s Brianne! Those are great ideas!! I think you are right about darkening his room...I think the light is part of the problem! I am going to black out his room right now!! Thanks : )
That kids takes the cutest pictures! Fun date night! Reminds me of the time Brad and I went to a nice steak house and asked for a Coke instead of wine...yeah, that seemed pretty un-classy to them.
