Wow! It has been a while since I have posted! But that is bc everytime I wanted to my wireless wasn't working here for some reason! Anyway, we are alll doing GREAT! October seems like it is going to be a crazy month for us but it will also be a fun month..we have so much planned! Every year we do a huge halloween thing at my in-laws...and by thing I mean we go all out on making the front door and lawn area and ourselves super scary to all of our lovely trick-or-treators- of coarse we try not to scare our little trick-or-treators. Anyway, this year is going to be the best of all so I want ALL of my fellow blogger buddies to please come out and see us...you'll have to call or e-mail me to get the address...or leave me a comment if you want it and I will call you or e-mail you!
Zach is doing pretty good. He is a pretty good baby during the day. Just at night he will not go to sleep..he screams bloody murder forever..he still wakes up at least 5 or 6 times...and I still try to just pat him back to sleep..but lots of the time he will relieve gas or burp really big...so I just feel like he is in pain through the night and the gas is waking him up? I don't know. I can't wait to go to the doctor though. He is already 7 months about and we haven't even gone to his 6 month! ugh! That's bc medicaid didn't change our address (even though I called and changed it) so the insurance cards got sent back to them and then they terminated his insurance! And to top it off because it was terminated I HAVE TO GO RE-APPLY!! If anyone has been to the medicaid office around here they know how HORRIBLE and humilating that place is! Anyway I really don't want to go through all that trouble, so I think I am going to bite the bullet and just get him some real insurance. When I use to work at a pediatricians office I did all the billing and insurance stuff and back then united health care seemed to be a pretty good one. But please let me know what you guys have and if you like them and who I should get and all that. Anyway...he has an apt for next week and I am just going to pay for it out of pocket..ouch..and for soem reason they gave me the other doctor in the same office? I don't know why they didn't give my normal doctor? oh well.. I hope he/she has some answers and solutions..and hopefully doesn't just think it's my fault and I am a bad mother...because that is probably the truth...I can't help it that I have a stupid big weak heart! Plus all the times I go in there after he has been screaming his head off for 20-30 minutes he has managed to put the blanky over his head..and he is sweating to death..and he could sufficate! (ok maybe not..but I am paranoid of everything...and it is not because I am a new mother...Believe me ask my mom or husband..I am paranoid about everything in life)
Well, he is finally sleeping now..so I guess I will go lay in bed until he wakes (bc that's all I do...my stupid body won't even let me fall asleep bc it's like hold on he will wake any minute now...and sometimes it will be 3 hours LATER..and I still will be wide awake..but SO SO sleepy!) Oh but some funny things he has been doing lately is when I am holding him and talking to someone he will just start to crack up out of nowhere...and I mean like really chuckle..not just happy screams..like real laughs..it is the funniest cutest thing ever. Plus he is SO tickleish, his feet, his tummy, his back, his neck, his thighs everywhere! I probably torture him bc I just love to here his little laugh! He still can't sit!! I wish he could...hopefully with in the next couple of weeks. He is grabbing and holding things really good..and still getting used to baby food but still not to sure of it...even though I give it tohim everyday..for like the past 3 months! I don't really know where he should be bc he is really 5 months...do 5 monthers usually sit on there own? Or is that still a little early? Or late?
Oh and Lacey, I don't know if she knows, but she left her baby Einstein dvd here(I'm assuming it is yours?) And Zach loves LOVES LOVES it! I can just sit him in his jumper in front of the tv and I can get so much done! I love it...like he watches it like he is really learning something,..it's pretty cute. I saw a report on the news about baby eistein videos and they say that they aren't that great...and studies show that babys and kids that watch them are actually further behind in talking and in other things...but I could care less..because he likes it dangit! Anyway, I have blabbered enough! It is really time to go to bed! goodnight!
No, this is not his Halloween costume, it is kathryns old one (his cousin) but when we were over at my sisters she had it out and I couldn't resist putting it on him to see what he looked like! hehe so cute!

if you tell the dr you dont have insurance, they usually give you a discount.
plus, if he need his shots, you can get them done and the clinic for a like $11 instead of $80

Oh man, Becca, I thought I had it bad, but 6 or 7 times a night?! You must be soooo tired! I guess my problem is that I expected Matt to be like Ben who was such a good sleeper and Matt is NOT...too much of a spaz. I can definitely relate to the Medicaid problems...I really hate that place too, but we would be up to our eyeballs in debt had we not gotten on it. Good luck with everything!
Oh my gosh he's gotten so big!! So cute!! I don't know what to say about his sleeping. Usually letting dougie cry/whine up to 20-30 min does/did the trick. I hope you get some answers!!
Aha! My Baby Einstein DVD. I'm so glad you found it. I thought it was gone forever. You can just keep it for awhile, because Riley is probably too old for it now. Just so you know, you can check more of those out at the Allen library. They usually have a few out on the shelves.
Zach is so so cute. I just want to eat up that picture of him in the pumpkin suit. Then again, I really like pumpkin so that could have something to do with it.
Look at that sweet lil' face in that pumpkin outfit! I love it!
