Holy Waters!!!

Well Tyler and I did get a job at Holiday Inn and have been working for the past week and a half. We started at the worst time possible because we have been full with katrina evacuees and now rita evacs. So it is EXTREMELY crazy, today I had to work alone from 3-7 and that was so crazy. I had phone call after phone call after phone call, and like 3 people all at once, with about 10 people at the front desk. I did get through it though! I have heard so many stories now, because everyone that calls in either to cancel there reservation or try to get them, like to tell me all about what is going on, and the traffic they are in and how long they have been in it and so on, I like it though, that stuff interest me so I like it when they talk to much. Anyways, our hotel is just packed with evacs, but we still have some openings because some people called to cancel because they won't make it in time. It's sad. Poor Sheri is in houston, she couldn't get out in time, so lets all pray for her. Jenna as well is someone where very southern, I can't remember the city, but she didn't have time to get back either because she was afraid to miss classes since they didn't shut down school! how stupid! Me and Ty are doing good, no one around here is freaking out about our weather, and we can't show signs of being scared (at the hotel) about tornadoes or anything because the evacs are all here! There is a good chance we could flood or get really strong winds or tornadoes, and they think we might lose electricity for a couple of days. But I guess we will see. We have like no food, we should probably get a little more prepared than we are! Wal-mart here we come!
Anyways, I am just rambling away and boring you guys to death I bet. But thats ok your the one still reading it. Well back to the job thing. We work the night audit, the most important job at a hotel (and the same thing dad did at sharadon) so we work form 11pm to 7am.. 2 to 3 nights a week. Thats going to be hard to get on that schedual. But we will make it work! Ok well I am going to watch the weather somemore, we don't have tv, so I have to watch it up at the hotel! haha sad I know, all the people are like don't you work here? and then I have to end up helping them with something! haha awell! Ok well leave messages, so I know you read! Thanks!!

Who are these people posting random advertising comments on our precious blogs? it's not cool.
We will be praying for you guys and everyone else in texas. Hopefully the tornado thing won't be an issue.
Your job sounds cool!! Good luck with the staying up all night long thing.

I check your blog more often than you update it so don't worry about that. I'm glad you get to hear cool stories. I'm not sure if we're going to get rain here, but I'm sure you will get some of it. I'm curious to see what's going to happen! Love you guys.

Becca I can't tell you where exactly it is, but somewhere under settings or something you can make it so your blog is not listed on the blogger page or public or whatever. That's the easiest way to get rid of them.
